This association functions just as a PTA, except that the students are involved. The number one reason for joining the PTSA is to benefit your child and in doing so, you also help the school. There is no better way of knowing exactly what’s happening at your child’s school than through the PTSA.
The PSTA offers a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students. If gives parents the opportunity to meet other parents and teachers, build rapport and be able to discuss issues and share ideas, concerns and experiences.
By joining the PTSA you have the opportunity to put your skills or hobbies to use – to benefit your child and others in the community. By being a part of the PTSA you can make direct suggestions that can affect changes in your child’s school, be part of the solution, and help to make positive changes.
The PTSA plays an important roll in fundraising to provide assistance with improvements, curriculum based programs, and social or cultural events. Everyone is invited to join the PTSA so please call administration for more information.
